United Way Celebrity Golf Classic Kicks Off Tournament April 30, 2011
SAN MARCOS, Texas - The United Way of Hays County is kicking off its annual Celebrity Golf Classic April 30, 2011. The event will benefit the Hays County Food Bank and fund other programs in the community. Celebrity guests will include Samuel L. Jackson, stars from NCIS and Grey’s Anatomy and many more.
“This three-day event is something you can take the whole family to,” said Michelle Harper, executive director of United Way Hays County. “It’s a great opportunity to enjoy golf, music and some VIP treatment.”
Raffle items include two $500 gift cards for Tanger Outlets, a diamond pendant from Carl Reiser, Sr and a golfclub set from Golfsmith. Raffle tickets are one for $10 or 3 for $25. To purchase tickets please call United Way of Hays County at 512.353.1420
Celebrity Dinner - Saturday, April 30, 2011 at Embassy Suites in San Marcos, Texas:
· 5:30 p.m. - Cocktails
· 6:30 p.m. - Dinner and auction at the Embassy Suites
· 7:30 p.m. – Entertainment by the band, Little Texas (You can purchase individual tickets to this concert for $75).
Celebrity Golf Scramble - Sunday morning, May 1, 2011 at Quail Creek Country Club in San Marcos, Texas:
· 7:30 a.m. – Registration
· 8:30 a.m. – Shot gun start
VIP Reception - Sunday evening, May 1, 2011 at Embassy Suites in San Marcos, Texas:
· 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. – VIP Reception presented by HEB
Celebrity Golf Classic - Monday May 2, 2011 at Onion Creek Club in Austin, Texas:
· 8:00 a.m. – Registration
· 8:30 a.m. – Team photos
· 10:00 a.m. – Shot gun start
